Storm King Art Center is best known for its grand landscape of rolling hills and its display of  more than 100 carefully sited large-scale outdoor sculptures, including works by the likes of Richard Serra and Maya Lin. But for a special exhibition in 2018  this bucolic sculpture park in Orange County, N.Y., will focus directly on a hot political topic: climate change.This exhibit closes 11/11. Highlights walking tour everyday at 1:00  pm

Hudson Valley Restaurant Week returns Mon Oct 29-Sun Nov 11. Be sure to make reservations early. Have you ever ridden a horse? Would you like to?

The Orange County 4-H Horse Program is hosting a Horse Fun Day! Ride a horse lead-line, groom a horse or pony, learn about horse anatomy, tack, and stamdardbred breed.  Bring your camera! Food will be available for purchase.

Bring the whole family! We will have lots of “horsey” related fun activities. The riding will be done lead-line which means someone walks next to the horse as the youth rides. The program is geared for all ages (perfect for Cloverbuds!). Registration is required by November 1. Friday, October 26th at the Forsyth Nature Center in Kingston

Join the Friends of Forsyth Nature Center, Kingston Parks and Recreation, and the Junior League of Kingston on Friday, October 26th, 2018 from 5:30pm-7:30pm for a fun filled evening at the Forsyth Nature Center.

“Boo at the Zoo” is a Halloween treat for children of all ages. Families are encouraged to come in costume to this free event and enjoy s’mores over a campfire, snacks, live entertainment and a costume parade.

The many turtles native to the Hudson Valley come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique characteristics. Meet Lily, Mr. Woody, Tangerine, and our other turtle ambassadors and see what makes each specially adapted to their habitat. For families.
