Yes, it’s true—Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year, but just because the holiday arrives midweek doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice romance. We’ve rounded up five restaurants in the Hudson Valley serving gourmet prix fixe feasts on February 14. A word to the wise: reserve your tables in advance. BYO sonnets.

Heritage Food & Drink (Wappingers Falls)

The rustic atmosphere of Heritage Food and Drink gives a feeling of both comfort and class perfect for a dreamy date night. After extensive renovation, the bar and restaurant in Wappingers Falls opened its doors in August 2017 in the former location of Greenbaum and Gilhooley’s. Heritage will host its first Valentine’s Day dinner with an optional, three-course prix fixe menu. Guests will choose from four appetizers, three entrees, and two desserts. The options include a fried blue point oysters appetizer, basil crusted lamb loin main course, and Heritage “black forest” cake for dessert. The dinner comes with a glass of sparkling rose. $59 per person  FULL ARTICLE
